Anchor Building Clinic

This anchor building clinic introduces climbers to building safe, redundant anchors in a variety of outdoor settings.

We will cover both sport and trad anchors. We will focus on using the SERENE framework to ensure anchors are strong, equalized, redundant, efficient, and free from shock loading.

A mix of demonstrations and hands on practice will guide the students through evaluating anchors, identifying mistakes, and adapting to real world scenarios (such as working with limited gear).

At the end of the session, students will be able to build and assess anchors outdoors and be able to clearly explain their decision making.
