Joe has been climbing for approximately 19 years since the age of 10. He has climbed v13 and 5.14ab indoors, and v12, and 5.13c outdoors. From 10-18 years old he represented Team Granite Arch in the USA Climbing circuit making it to nationals for bouldering and ropes consistently. At age 18 he finally placed 2nd at nationals earning him a spot on the US team to compete at the youth world championships in Arco Italy 2015. As an adult he continued his competitive career with the US team competing in Japan 2016, Vale 2016, Germany 2016, and Ecuador 2017. Additionally competing in various local circuits like “The Boulder Field Masters” placing 1st both years. During all those years and still to this day, Joe works as the head coach of our competitive team, and has received his USAC Level 2 coaches certification. He has also been setting routes for more than a decade and has received his USAC level 1 Route setting certification. Today Joe climbs as much as a new father can and has been very much passionate about sharing his climbing knowledge to anyone who will listen.

Noah has been climbing since August, 2015. To date, he has climbed V10 and 5.12c indoors as well as V6 and 5.11 outdoors. At age 18, he competed in USA Climbing youth competitions up to the Divisional level in both bouldering and ropes sport disciplines. As an adult, he has participated in several citizen's competitions for bouldering, most notably earning a silver medal at the 2019 GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado. Noah has worked as a climbing instructor for nearly a decade and has received USAC Level 1 Coach and Routesetter certifications. He has also contributed to articles in Climbing Business Journal. Today, he climbs recreationally and is passionate about teaching climbers.

Nate has been climbing for over 6 years and has climbed up to V10 and 5.13a indoors. Outdoors, he’s sent V7 boulders and 5.12b on top rope. As a youth, he competed with the Granite Arch team, advancing to the divisional championships in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2023.
Certified as a USA Climbing Level 2 coach and Climbing Wall Instructor Level 3 trained, Nate has been coaching for over 3 years, with a particular focus on bouldering and working with intermediate climbers. His coaching philosophy centers on helping climbers learn from their own mistakes, guiding them toward self-discovery rather than giving them the answers. This approach not only builds better climbers but also strengthens mental toughness-- helping athletes push past boundaries and manifest success both on and off the wall.

Every since Ryan stepped into a climbing gym in 2019, the sport captured him like no other. Ryan continued his passion through competing on Team Granite Arch, setting and coaching. Currently his highest grades are indoor V10 and 5.13ab. He is now pursuing personal training and coaching, aiming to lend his climbing experience and knowledge to others.

Brogan has been rock climbing for 4 years, and climbs up to 5.12 indoors and 5.11 outdoors. He has nearly 2 years of experience tradition climbing on Yosemite big walls such as El Capitan, Washington Column, and Leaning Tower, along with numerous Grade III alpine routes throughout the park and the Eastern Sierra. He is passionate about teaching and helping climbers build confidence, technique, and a strong foundation in all disciplines of climbing.
