This 60 minute class teaches top rope belay technique, proper use of equipment, correct tie-in procedure for both climber and belayer, and basic communication between the climber and belayer in a gym environment. Belaying is the “rope management” part of climbing. If you are new to climbing, or if it has been some time since you climbed, this class is for you.
These classes are not guaranteed, but we recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the class to book.
This class is ideal for anyone new to climbing (ages 14+) who wants to dive into the basics in a fun and supportive setting. Whether you're curious about indoor climbing or just want to get started, this class offers a comprehensive introduction to both bouldering and top rope climbing. Held from 6-8pm, it’s the perfect opportunity to learn the foundational skills in a controlled and welcoming environment.
